Mobility Assistance
Mobility support focuses on the moments where falls often happen: standing up, turning, bathing, getting into bed, moving through hallways, and leaving the house.
Mobility problems often show up in ordinary moments: getting out of bed, standing from a chair, stepping into the bathroom, turning in a hallway, or walking to the kitchen.
Warmheart caregivers can provide steadying support, help with safe transfers, encourage careful movement, and follow mobility instructions already provided by family or clinicians.
The goal is not to push a person beyond what is safe. It is to make daily movement less stressful and to notice when balance, strength, or confidence seems to be changing.

Can caregivers help with transfers?
Yes, when the transfer can be done safely and fits the care plan. Unsafe transfers may require equipment, reassessment, or a higher level of care.
Can you help with walkers and wheelchairs?
Caregivers can support clients using walkers or wheelchairs as part of normal daily movement when it is safe and planned.
Is mobility assistance physical therapy?
No. Mobility assistance supports daily movement and transfers. Physical therapy goals and exercises should come from a licensed therapist.
