family questions

Clear answers before care begins.

Choosing home care means asking direct questions about safety, fit, cost, scheduling, and what caregivers can actually do.

ask your question
01

What kind of home care does Warmheart provide?

Warmheart provides non-medical in-home care: personal care, companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, mobility support, errands, and help keeping daily routines steady.

02

What can a CNA help with at home?

A Certified Nursing Assistant can help with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, walking support, meals, reminders, and basic comfort routines. CNAs do not replace a nurse or doctor.

03

Can your caregivers administer medication?

No. Caregivers can remind a client when it is time to take medication, help keep the schedule visible, and report missed doses to family, but they do not administer medication or make medication decisions.

04

How do we know what level of care is needed?

We start with a conversation about the person, the home, the schedule, and the family's concerns. From there, we recommend a care plan based on what is actually needed day to day.

practical details

The questions families ask after the first call.

If the situation is urgent or complicated, it is better to talk through it directly. The form is useful, but a call is faster.

05

Do you serve my area?

Our office is in Gaithersburg and our primary service area is Montgomery County, including Rockville, Silver Spring, Bethesda, Gaithersburg, Germantown, Potomac, Chevy Chase, Wheaton, and nearby communities.

06

How soon can care start?

Timing depends on the schedule, the level of care, and caregiver availability. If the need is urgent, call directly so we can understand the situation and see what can be arranged.

07

How are caregivers screened?

Caregivers are screened before placement, including credential review, background checks, reference checks, and fit for the type of home care being requested.

08

What if the caregiver is not the right fit?

Caregiver fit matters. If the match is not working, we want to know quickly so we can adjust the plan and work toward a better fit for the client and family.

09

How much does home care cost?

Cost depends on the number of hours, the schedule, and the type of support needed. We discuss pricing after learning enough about the care situation to give a useful answer.

10

Do you accept Medicaid or insurance?

Payment options can change as agency setup evolves. Contact us directly and we will explain the current options clearly before care begins.

11

Where is your office?

Warmheart Home Care is located at 18310 Montgomery Village, Suite #300 - G-12, Gaithersburg, MD 20879. Office visits are by appointment.

12

What happens after I submit the contact form?

We review the information, follow up to ask any missing questions, and talk through next steps. The goal is to understand the home situation before recommending care.
